We hope that highlighting these songs over the past few weeks has been a meaningful exercise in starting off your week with some moving music.
I'll be brief and simply say that this song, 'Mercy,' written by Jonas Myrin and Matt Redman is rich and powerful, yet simple to the point you may overlook it at first blush.
We led this in our Easter service with guitar and piano only, and sang it over the congregation as the words were displayed. It was a moment where we were able to reflect and take in the true wonder of God's mercy.
We plan on adding this to our list, and leading with the whole band. I hope it inspires you today...it's also really good to listen on repeat during personal time in the Bible or prayer.
